Cynthia joined the team in 2017 and has an extensive knowledge of vintage, estate, and antique jewelry. She has worked in the jewelry industry for over 25 years and has 10 years of experience at the jeweler's bench. She is a GIA Certified Graduate Gemologist and former Board Member of the Golden Gate GIA Alumni Association. She earned her BA in Storytelling As Cross-Cultural Communication.

I came to Pave to get a birthday present for my wife. I knew I wanted a necklace, and had some of my own gems to use, but beyond that, felt pretty clueless. I met with Cynthia, and she couldn't have been more helpful and patient in deciding what to get, keeping in mind my wife's tastes, my cost parameters, and the wide variety of potential options, never once pushing me or making me feel rushed. She asked questions, helped me focus in on what would feel right, and made what could be an overwhelming experience end up being very enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend coming here to anyone -- even for those, like me, who feel a bit intimidated by not knowing where to start.

Went to Pavé this morning to inquire about resizing a ring that was passed on from my dad (20 years ago) to my son who is now 22.Cynthia helped us and answered all questions we had about preserving the details of the ring. She was absolutely amazing. Super knowledgeable, kind and patient. I felt listened and cared for. Not pressed or rushed. Gave great opinions. I will definitely be back to have other services done. I came into Pavé with a ring that I wanted to resize. I knew of the shop and its expertise because a friend of mine worked here ~10 years ago and always sang its praises. Getting that process started was easy and I'll pick it up in a few weeks. I happened to also be in the market for a wedding band stack to go with my amazing engagement ring and wanted to see about trying some bands on just for the sake of knowing what I like. Cynthia was available (I just walked in!), and she was absolutely lovely. I can't speak highly enough of her. She was gentle, kind, honest, and at no point did I feel like she was there to "sell" me something - she was there to help me learn about what spoke to me and what this process meant to me.Throughout the entire experience, we got to have meaningful conversation, and it felt like I was sitting with a friend. She pulled pieces that were beautiful and was patient with me while we tried on ~20 different bands in different orders and narrowed everything down to what I feel is the absolute perfect set for me. I did not go in expecting to find my wedding stack, but I am SO glad that I did! The bands are gorgeous, and I know their quality and craftsmanship are top tier - something that was important to me. I left not only having selected my forever jewelry, but also having had a really memorable afternoon spending time with Cynthia. I would highly recommend this place for anyone interested in more than a "jewelry buying" experience.

Over the last 2 years Cynthia has helped my fiancée and I. First, they did a complete restoration of a 100 year old platinum antique ring that I gave my fiancée for her engagement ring. More recently Cynthia helped us with my wedding wring. A custom redwood bark platinum band that turned out amazing. Cynthia has been an amazing help and has become a big part of our wedding and our journey. It is clear that Cynthia and Michael give their all for their clients and they do amazing work. I had an outstanding experience at Pave! I met with Cynthia who was incredibly helpful and a wonderful listener. I was reluctant to have my engagement ring worked on since it is a family heirloom and I was new to the area and unsure where I should be going to get work done on something that was so precious to me. Cynthia walked me through the process of having my ring resized and the gems polished and reset and made me feel very at ease. She was lovely to work with. I picked up my ring today and could not be happier! It fits perfectly and looks so bright and sparkly!!! I was very pleased with the craftsmanship and customer service at Pave!

I had several pieces of jewelry that required repair, including finding gemstones that matched the originals. I worked with Cynthia, who conducted a thorough search to find just the right stones. Three of the projects involved finding matching opals, which took quite an effort, but she was ultimately able to locate perfect matches. She was also very knowledgeable and helpful in locating diamonds that were ethically sourced. The workmanship on my pieces was lovely. While the projects were not inexpensive, I felt I got good value for the money
